Norma Jean Rogers Kelly

Norma Jean Rogers Kelly, 65, died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. She was born in Seattle, Washington on September 23, 1946, daughter of the late William "Bud" and Norma Rogers. She was a 1963 graduate of Savannah High School, Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and from Savannah State University with a Master of Business Administration. Mrs. Kelly was the Director of Surgical Services at Candler Hospital for twenty five years and served as Nurse Manager of the Surgery Center at Savannah Plastic Surgery. She was a communicant of Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.

She is survived by her husband of twenty five years, Michael J. Kelly of Brooklet; daughter, Tia T. Adkins and her husband, Larry of Pooler; brother, William L. "Bubba" Rogers, Jr. and his wife, Mary Jane of Savannah; sister, Carol E. Williams and her husband, Greg of Keller, TX; four grandchildren, Madison Burke, Kaitie Burke, Natalie Adkins and Andrew Adkins.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2011 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2011 at St. James Catholic Church.

Burial: Catholic Cemetery.
